Rinsing is something we do everyday.
One day not long ago as I was finishing my shower, I stopped mid-splash, as I was rinsing the shampoo, soap and hair from the tub, tiles and shower curtain. I thought to myself, "There's got to be a better way." Before turning off the water everytime I took a shower, I would cup my hands or use my scrunchie to collect water and fling it at the tub walls, tiles and curtain in order to rinse them. It seemed a frustrating exercise that would be better accomplished with a cup. But storing a cup in my tub was a problem because there are only two corners taken up by things like razors, shampoo bottles and soap.
I realized the activity of rinsing is often treated as an afterthought. I was aware that my friends and family generally had the ubiquitous rinse cup, taking up space in the corner of their bathtub. When I was a small child my mom kept a plastic cup in the tub for rinsing shampoo from our hair when she bathed us.
What I needed was a rinse cup that was convenient, not in the way, or taking up space gathering stale water and mildew. The solution to this problem was a cup designed specifically for convenient rinsing. So I designed and invented The Schuppy® The rinse cup with a hook for hanging.
